Station Soliloquy

Following on from my Tube Stories series, here are a selection of some images taken on my everyday travels around the UK.  I have always been fascinated by those spaces inbetween.  The waiting spaces. Those moments of contemplation in an otherwise frenetic world.

  1. There is a risk with this subject matter that the images can be repetitive and boring. Your work however is on a far higher level Fascinating, insightful, thought provoking. Very good indeed!!? Congratulations

  2. I really like these images. I like the way you have captured how absorbed your subjects are with their phones. As I travel about I am very aware of how people are oblivious to the world around themselves and engrossed in the device in their hand. I also think of the work of Gary Winogrand and the way your work relates to his images from another era.
