Supermarkets are fascinating places. They sort of exist out of the realm of normal life. Sort of like a culinary airport departure lounge. As I am sure many of you know by now, I have a curious fascination for people and the way that they navigate those “inbetween places”. You will find waiting rooms, stations and the London Underground in my Station Soliloquy and Tube Stories series. What better way to continue my quest than to explore the wonders of the unique Supermarket shuffle.

Tweeted this before as you know but like button wouldn’t load. And I can see you’ve added @illustriouspea already!
I don’t hang around. Thank you for the top tip!!!
Pleasure, especially when it makes my life much easier! Splitting headache so probably won’t blog about it until tomorrow. Have a lovely evening.
You too!
A very good idea to document a supermarket. I fancied doing this more for the shapes, lines and architecture, but imagined I’d have to seek permission first. It’s their territory after all. Did you take your chances?
I did. Shhhh!
Your secret’s safe with me 🙂
🙂 Phew!!!
I’m too chicken, especially at the supermarket. Besides, I’m usually too busy cruising the aisles for bargains!
I must admit that it can be a touch on the slightly nerve wracking side!
It’s quite a private activity, albeit carried out in the public gaze.
It is. It is. That is what is so fascinating. Love it.
