London Love – Pimlico

“Sir, when a man is tired of London, he is tired of life; for there is in London all that life can afford.” – Samuel Johnson

I love Pimlico.  All those stucco white terraces in lovely lines.  Plus the name itself “pim-li-co” is a pleasure to roll around the tongue.  In my mind it is all bowler hats, umbrellas and magical cracks in the pavement.  I can’t help but think that Mr Benn and his magical costume shop are just around the next corner.

For a little peek at some of my other work then why not pop over to my Etsy shop?

  1. A lovely shot of those straight rows, broken by the church, and leading to taller buildings. I really like the lines in this photo. Also, neat description of the place with bowler hats, etc. Gives a bit of character to the place.
