Peacock Towers takes the world (or an Oxfordshire town) by storm…

Well my lovely friends.  Peacock Towers is relocating to the lovely Henley on Thames.  Home of the Royal Regatta, lots of lovely little boats, open fires, fabulous little shops, gorgeous pubs and soon a beautiful peacock who is giving it all up to play at being a character in Wind in the Willows with her nearest & dearest.  Ozymandias is very excited at the prospect of battling mutant river rats and I am dreaming of long lazy days on the river drinking pink fizz and tucking into elaborate picnics.  Peachy.

Some may say it is slightly insane moving five days before Christmas but I do love a challenge and there is nothing quite like family descending to incentivise unpacking those boxes.

Anyway, thanks to BT broadband, we will be working a skeleton service until sometime into the first week in January.  Advent fun should be able to continue, so I look forward to seeing you all on the other side.

I would like to take a moment to thank you all for your company throughout 2012 and wish you all a very joyful and fun-filled festive period.

See you next year.

With love and a bundle of happy, joyful things.

  1. You’re certainly brave! Moving boxes and mutant river rats. 🙂

Congratulations on the move though; I hope that you’ll have a wonderful Christmas and a very contented New Year as you settle into your lovely new home!

    1. Fabulous! Much appreciated. If you would really like to help then might I recommend spending the next 30 mins running around your house throwing random things into a box, suitcase and black plastic bag whilst drinking your body weight in Shiraz. Perfect 🙂
