London In Shades of Grey – Onward Christian Soldiers

There are hundreds of different places to worship in the fair city of London.  100’s of different faiths all nestled up together in harmony (most of the time).  Fabulous stuff I say!  Why make war when you can make love (or something like that).

This little shot is of a board inside a big old beautiful church.  It lets those worshippers know just where to turn to in their hymn books.  All those voices raised up in harmony (well, as close as you can probably get without the assistance of some tenacious professionals).  Enough to send a shiver down the spine.

  1. Perhaps it is a jumble? “Place in order to represent the arc of gasoline prices over the last five years.” Your photographs are enormously evocative…I miss London. Thank you for visiting A Thistle in My Sensitive Area!
