It happens that I’m listening to the 4th movement of Dvorak’s serenade for strings, and the music is perfectly matched to this photo. The atmosphere is amazing – sleeping in the sun is something you’d usually associate with being in a quiet garden surrounded by trees and birds, yet the photograph is able to make the Tube ‘private’ enough to experience such a moment free from the spiritual clutter of modern life.
